iSEODANG Korean Academy is thrilled to announce our upcoming donation event, “Hello Hangeul: The First Encounter Through Hangeul,” held annually to celebrate King Sejong’s Birthday (May 15) and Hangeul Day (Oct 9).

Students from CI Villingual Primary School in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, are participating in a Hangeul class taught by an Aiseodang teacher as part of the Hello Hangeul program.

Eco-bags were presented to the students after the Hello Hangeul program held at CI Villingual Elementary School in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic .

Our School Part program is specifically designed for youth and university students. We visit schools to donate our proprietary introductory textbook, iSEODANG Basic, and host engaging workshops on Hangeul’s history and characters. Through fun quizzes and interactive sessions, we aim to spark a lifelong interest in the Korean language!

📍 Next Stop: RPS School, Gurugram!

On Monday, May 11, we are headed to RPS School to meet with enthusiastic 5th and 6th graders.

What’s happening?

Donation: 150 iSEODANG Basic textbooks and custom school bags.

Learning: A deep dive into the beauty of the Korean alphabet.

Vision: We will be pursuing an MOU to establish regular Korean language classes at the school!

Following the success of our 2025 launch—which was featured in over 10 media outlets across Korea and the Dominican Republic—we are committed to turning these "first encounters" into long-term educational programs.
